Here at NCJGA School of Golf, we provide a wide variety of ways and places to practice and improve your junior's golf game.
If your junior simply needs lessons, spring classes are held after school from 3:30 - 7:30 pm at the Carlsbad Golf Center. Sign up online to participate.
Learn to Play events will be held at executive length golf courses. NCJGA Learn to Play events are perfect for new golfers who are just learning to play. These events will inclue more events of on course instruction. Your junior, under the supervision of an experienced instructor, will learn the rules of golf and "on course etiquette" while they play. Learn to Play events will be held on Saturday afternoons on executive golf course, where the juniors will have a chance to earn ribbons for good play. Your junior will receive a certificate when he has completed the Learn to Play program. They will also be eligible to participate in executive tour events, and have the possibility of winning awards and promotions given at every event.
Divisions for Learn to Play:
EmerickGolf is a local North County golf instruction company. The lessons are taught at the Crossings at Carlsbad, Center City Golf Course, and the Carlsbad Golf Center by David Emerick. David Emerick is a PGA Professional who is also the founder of NCJGA. Hourly individual lesson are available, along with discounts for members of the NCJGA Tournament Players program. Clinics are offered year round; the member's deal is a month of four, one hour lessons $65. New for 2012, David Emerick is offering a Saturday morning junior golf clinics at a yearly rate. Lee Sanudo, who is currently in the process of becoming an official PGA member, was honored as Apprentice Player of the Year by the PGA San Diego Chapter in 2011. Group classes with Lee Sanudo and summer camps are available through the NCJGA. He teaches at the Carlsbad Golf Center. For more information on Lee, vist his info page.
This award winning, full service, golf facility has joined with the NCJGA to provide members with unique perks. Members will receive Carlsbad Golf Center range cards, and affordable instrucion. Club fitting and club repairs are also available by local PGA and LPGA golf professionals on site.
