About NCJGA
North County Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization located in San Diego's beautiful North County.
Our mission is to make junior golf accessible, affordable,
and fun for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.
NCJGA Tournaments
NCJGA is unique because we organize our tournaments
by age and skill level.
So our tournaments are exciting for families with experienced players and families who are just getting started in tournament golf. Tournaments are organized into two tours:
- Championship Tour · Tournaments are played at full-size courses that are setup for experienced golfers.
- Executive Tour · Tournaments are played at smaller, executive courses that are ideal for golfers who are new to tournament golf.
Any junior golfer can register to play in an NCJGA tournament. If you also become an NCJGA Member, you will receive tournament fee discounts and other benefits.
NCJGA Academy
The NCJGA Academy provides camps, clinics and exhibitions for junior golfers.
2009 Summer Camp instruction will be held at the Carlsbad Golf Center on Monday thru Wednesday beginning from 9:00am - 12:00pm. On course instruction is Thursday at Emerald Isle Executive Golf Course.
NCJGA member cost is $135, guests are $160. Summer camp includes instruction, range balls, daily snacks, awards, prizes and green fee. Classes are taught by PGA and LPGA instructors.
Youth On Course
The SCGA Foundation launched its Youth On Course program which offers amazing golf opportunities to area junior golfers.
This program increases the affordability and accessibility of golf for youth by establishing $2 course access and $1 range balls at golf facilities during off peak hours.
