David is currently President of NCJGA,
the head golf coach at Carlsbad High School,
and a PGA teaching professional at the Crossings in Carlsbad.

Sean Toulon
John Ashworth
John played North County Junior Golf from 1968 to 1977
and won the San Diego City Junior Tournament in 1977.
John played college golf at Palomar College then the University of Arizona where he graduated with a BS in Agronomy in 1982.
John founded Ashworth Clothing in 1987.
Susan Roll
Susan is a member of both the PGA & LPGA and is co-owner of Carlsbad Golf Center, a USA Best 100 Golf Shop & Top 100 Range. Prior to becoming one of just a handful of women golf facility owners in the country in 2003, she worked in several areas of the golf industry, including instruction, club design, golf publications, retail and custom clubfitting.
Susan was named the LPGA T&CP National Professional of the Year (2005) and the Clubfitter of the Year (2007) and Merchandiser of the Year (2005 & 2008) by the PGA Southern California Section.
Susan earned her B.A. in Business from the University of Wyoming, where she was a four-year scholarship golfer. She was inducted into the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame (2003), honoring her three individual and four team state Class B girls’ golf titles.
Chris Beck
Chris is a software entrepreneur and co-founder of Directra, a social network for youth sports.
Chris moved to Carlsbad in 1986 as a co-founder of Forté, a developer of voice and email collaboration software. Forté, was eventually acquired by Alcatel in 2000.
In his spare time, Chris is an avid golfer and coaches youth ice hockey. He believes that all young athletes should experience the joy of tournament golf. Chris has been a staff advisor with NCJGA since 2004.
Chris has a BA in Information Systems from Cal State Fullerton.
